Leadership

Corey has been the Pastor of CBC since January 1, 2019. He was born in Portsmouth, and he's thrilled to be home. He went to graduate school in North Carolina at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, and he was a Pastor in South Carolina for five years. He loves his family, being in or around the water, and learning.  

Pastor Hal has served CBC for many years. He used to be the Associate Pastor. He was the Director of Worship at one time. He has also served as the Senior Pastor immediately prior to Pastor Corey. He wanted to retire; so we made him Pastor Emeritus.

Rachel has years of experience and training serving the church administratively.  She is very gifted and is a blessing in and through CBC.

Donavon has served at CBC since 2019. He was trained under several conductors at Christopher Newport University. Donavon skillfully leads our orchestra and vocalists. 

Denice is active in the community and has served CBC in many ways in the past. She loves leading the children of Calvary. 

Walt has been a member of CBC all his life. He takes care of many things, and he's just super nice.
